How do roles work?

There are four roles on the Trade Hub — Main Contact, Location Admin, Ordering Only and View Only

Each company has one Main Contact, who has full access across the whole company and every location within it. The Main Contact can assign other contacts as Location Admin, Ordering-only or View-only for individual locations.

Location Admins have the same level of access as the Main Contact, but scoped to the location(s) they administer, and one person can be Location Admin across multiple locations.

The Ordering Only role allows the user to place orders of any value through the Trade Hub. This role does not have access to manage or change the roles of other users

The View Only role allows users to place sample orders (orders at the value of £0) only. They also cannot manage or change the roles of other users.

Any user in your company, regardless of role, can see your company's credit balance, order history and the list of users added to the company. If that's a concern for your business, get in touch with Ca' Pietra and we'll work through a solution with you, which may include removing certain users from the Trade Hub.
