# How should I package a return?
## Tiles are fragile, so it's worth packaging your return carefully to avoid damage in transit.
Tiles are fragile, so it's worth packaging your return carefully to avoid damage in transit.
A few things help:
- package the goods well, using sturdy packaging
- take a photo before the goods are collected, in case of any issues with the carrier
- mark your returns number clearly on all packages, crates and pallets
Damage that happens in transit back to us because of poor packaging is the customer's responsibility, not ours. If we notice damage when your return arrives with us, we'll take photos to help support any claim you make with your courier.
